When we were assigned to type an essay for class in which needed to be “double-spaced”, i thought the teacher LITERALLY meant DOUBLE-SPACED (as in hitting the “Space-key” twice. See, she never really acknowledged or showed us what double-spaced meant, but for some reason almost everyone else knew what it was. For example:
Me: “In the end, the whole city survived.”
Everyone else: “And so the village lived, though it wasn’t so happy. *skips row*
In conclusion, the village - blaw blaw blaw”
and yeah…that’s basically what happened. it should be called double rowed instead of double spaced…actually that sounda kinda weird…yeah..
